LAWA Weddings - Renee & Todd

We have had a busy summer that took LAWA bridal shoes to some far flung & exotic shores. As a big fan of Mexico myself, I am pleased to share this fantastic wedding with you. Renee & Todd got married in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on April 9th and it looks like they had a brilliant day.

Renees wedding dress was made by Maggie Sottero and she wore her mother's veil (37 years old)! Her lovely embellished belt was borrowed from her best friend. The shoes was new :) and is our classic Carmen glitter t-bar sandals, Renee: "I loved the shoes. Comfy and chic! "

Here is a few extra shots of the venue & beach party. I suddenly miss summer!

LAWA Weddings - Ann-Marie & Stephen

Ann-Marie & Stephen had their wedding at the stunning Mount Druid, Castletown geogehan in Co. Westmeath, Ireland. The photographer was Pawel Bebenca  and the photos are stunning! Ann-Marie sent me such a great selection, it was really hard to choose which ones to use.

She wore a gorgeous lace dress with a cap sleeve detail and a long sweeping vail which she teamed with our jade Anoush suede platform peep toe sandals. Their bright colour really stood out, I love her bold styling.

Ann-Marie: "I bought my wedding shoes before I had finalised my dress. I loved the shoes so much and I got to bring them to every dress shop and every fitting so they were well broken in by the wedding! Luckily that was the case, because the sun was shining so we walked around the farm where we got married and got some fantastic shots. The shoes just pop and everyone loved them! Sadly, after all the walking, they had to come off later in the night when the dancing got serious, but they had centre stage in front of the band all night :) I need to get them cleaned and they will be ready to go again! Wedding Magazine - Bignor Park Shoot

I have been very lucky to be part of a beautiful summer shoot in Bignor Park, West Sussex. The very talented photographer is Cecelina Photography captured some lovely images and it is a great pleasure to be published in Wedding Magazine in their March issue! Pick up your copy in store now.

It was a great shoot and a fantastic team. I have worked with wedding planner Andri Benson on a few occasions and the result of this shoot is really something special. Below are a few of my favourite pictures of the day, hope it gives you some outdoors summer wedding inspiration.

These are our lovely Anoush tie front peep toe shoes. They are available online here. Elegant and comfortable in white kid suede with a pretty scalloped top line, these beauties are one of our best sellers and definitely worth a look. The below stationery is from Curious Me Design, isn't it pretty?

The shoot also included a romantic styled picnic that I adore! I wish I can be there right now, sipping a peach bellini... o well, summer is just around the corner and we can live the dream then. Make up by Joyce Connor and flowers by Blue Sky Flowers.

LAWA Weddings - Danielle & Josh

Danielle and Josh had their wedding in the green and leafy Greenwhich. Danielle wore a beautiful beaded gown by Charlotte Wilden Bride. She teamed this elegant dress with our Anoush white & silver suede platform peep toe sandals.

Danielle: "I really struggled to find anything that I wanted to wear let alone that I could justify paying paying the sometimes eye watering prices for however in my extensive search I came across a photo shoot and loved the shoes on the model. I was therefore delighted when I found that not only was I able to find them online, the price was reasonable. As much as I needed my shoes to have as high a heel as possible (my husband is 6 foot 8) I was taking the 'bury my head in the sand' approach to how much my feet were going to ache wearing them however I can honestly say that these shoes were the most comfortable heels I have ever worn. I managed 11am to 10pm which to me makes them worth every penny. Thank you so much Nicole, I look forward to finding any excuse possible to get them out again!"

An urban shoot with Geometric Patterns to see in the new year!

Happy new year! It is 2016 and I would like to kick off this new year of fabulous weddings with this quirky and modern shoot at the South Bank centre that was styled by Carrie Southall Design. It is all about gorgeous geometric shapes, clean lines and bright colours.

The look had to be urban, design-conscious with just a bit of rock and roll! The geometric trend definitely fits within this arena. The South Bank centre with its design heritage and mid century vibe was perfect for our shoot. The result is elegant, and a little bit unexpected, the whole thing is brilliantly captured by both Paola De Paola Photography and Wagtail Productions

The models are a real couple and are young creatives just starting their own careers within the wedding industry and we loved their young, cool look. The shoot includes striking floral arrangements by Clare from Love Blooms and fun dresses from Rock the Frock. The shoes used to complete the looks are our tie front platform beauty Anoush, our gold and glam Marlene bar shoe as well as the quirky, love heart ankle boot style Inessa.
